Sun Sports + was founded in 1994 by Harry Hewes. Since then, our passion for water sports and the lifestyle that has evolved from it has continued to grow. We ride the wake boards, water skis, and paddle boards we sell. We wear the clothing and sunglasses that we display. We are happy to tell you what we think about them. Our commitment to the sport and our customers is obvious. The knowledge of our staff is our most valuable asset.

In 1999 we started the first water ski school in Maine. We offer lessons, clinics and demos daily on our Malibu Wakesetter VTX.
In the fall of 2011 after 18 years in our original location, we realized we had outgrown our space. Sun Sports+ moved 500 feet up the street - to our new location in the former Gazebo T's building (across from the town dock). Yes - we are still on the Naples Causeway, but we are now bigger and better than ever! The Laughing Loon, our Women’s division, and Sun Sports+ are finally under one roof. The new space has given us the opportunity to expand into new retail categories including paddle boarding. Stop by and visit our paddle board showroom.
